Interconnected romance series for the win every time! We can’t wait for Liz Tomforde’s next series, Wilder Woods, which takes place in California and follows the Wilder siblings. The first instalment, Cardinal Rule, is set to come out next year.
So many of these romance authors are Canadian, which we love.
We’re stoked to be going to the book launch for Fossil Feud by Maggie North, in conversation with Stephanie Archer, author of the hockey romance series Vancouver Storm. Hosted, of course, by Hopeless Romantic Books.
In our next episode, we’re taking a wildly different turn for our Page to Screen series by reading Clockers by Richard Price and watching the 1995 Spike Lee film adaptation.
After that, we’ll be doing some summer spooky reading with What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher.
Our next book club pick is Gen’s, and it’s The Dream Thieves graphic novel adaptation of Book 2 of The Raven Cycle Series by Maggie Steifvater, illustrated by Sas Milledge. It’s coming out August 4.
