In Episode 49 Gen and Jette get out their magnifying glasses and trench coats for a genre breakdown trying to solve the mystery genre. We had lots of fun breaking this one down and looking at all the different sub-genres within mystery. (Including bumbling detective, amateur detective, caper/heist, comedy detective, cozy/soft boiled, hardboiled, holmesian, and whodunit.)
One conclusion is clear: the mystery genre offers something for everyone and we need to read more of them!
