In Episode 46 Gen and Jette talk about The Rural Diaries by Hilarie Burton Morgan, our 2020 April/May book club selection. We head to upstate New York and fall in love with farm animals and candy shops in Hilarie Burton Morgan’s memoir. She writes about “Love, Livestock, and Big Life Lessons Down on Mischief Farm.”
We love memoirs and we love One Tree Hill, so this was a must-read for us. And it was a delight. Hilarie Burton Morgan tells her story with humour and honesty. She also includes recipes and pictures throughout. After reading this one, you’ll want to pack up and move to a farm. And then pursue the 101 hobbies you’ve always wanted to try. (You know Gen does for sure.)
We hope you enjoyed The Rural Diaries by Hilarie Burton Morgan as much as we did!
