Coming Up for Air follow three stories in different eras and countries–a young woman in present-day Canada with cystic fibrosis, a man in 1950s Norway, and a woman in Paris in the late 1890s–that converge in an unexpected way. Leipciger moves seamlessly between these seemingly disparate stories to bring the reader a greater whole.
Pallbearing is a collection of short stories tracing the varied lives of individuals in a small town. Melgaard writes honest portrayals of the human experience, tackling love, loss, grief, and missed opportunities.
